About Me
Drin Hǫzǫ! – Good Day!
My name is Echo Henderson. I am a proud Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nations woman from Dawson City, in the heart of the Klondike, Yukon Territory, Canada.
Living in the North has shaped who I am. Our long, dark winters and the strength of our community have taught me resilience, creativity, and the importance of carrying forward the traditions of my people. Beading is one of those traditions—taught to me by my Elders and Aunties, passed down through generations with love and care.
Each piece I create carries the spirit of the North, the teachings of my ancestors, and a connection to the land I call home. I blend traditional skills with modern designs, creating wearable art that celebrates both where I come from and who I am today.
Thank you for supporting Indigenous art and for being part of this journey with me.
Mähsi’ – Thank you
Echo Henderson
